Master Duk Ha is constantly thinking of new ways to engage his students. While he always maintains the respect and discipline of the traditions he has known since childhood, Master Duk has a deep understanding that students’ brains are more receptive to learning if the lessons include variety and fun along with the work and practice that are required to achieve anything worthwhile, including Black Belt excellence.
He uses his own experience as an elite athlete, earning multiple medals in the Canadian National Taekwondo Championships in the Flyweight Division and participating as a Team Canada member in World Cup, Pan-Am and World Taekwondo Championships, to benefit his students. Master Duk has been named Athlete of the Year by Taekwondo Canada and inducted into the Saskatoon Sports Hall of Fame. Most recently, he won the gold medal in his division at Taekwondo Canada’s 2021 High Performance Online Poomsae Nationals.
With his ever youthful and positive attitude, Master Duk Ha inspires confidence in students, parents and other KEES’ masters and instructors.
