TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Teach students in a firm, fair, and fun way to bring out their potential while keeping them humble and modest. Always strive to teach students to act like a black belt inside and outside of the school, therefore making them a black belt in life. Teaching should involve a strong spirit, proper attitude, open mind, and kind heart.

  • Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of British Columbia, Major in Psychology, Minor in Economics
  • Canadian National Silver Medallist in Olympic Style Sparring Competition—1999
  • BC Provincial Silver Medallist in Olympic Style Competition—1999 & 2000
  • Instructor of the Year—1997
  • Leadership Member of the Year—1995
  • First Aid Certified

  • Helping students set goals and being involved in the process as they achieve them
